As the story goes ~ “We went to the Lewiston art Festival and bought a house.” The culture and historic nature of the Village of Lewiston was a pure inspiration. The well preserved 1890’s traditional Victorian home at the prelude of the historic district was the perfect site for a Bed and Breakfast. The home was originally built as the doctor’s office and home of Thomas Kerr. The house has been well preserved ever since, only changing hands through three different families since the 1890’s. Out back sets a carriage house originally used for Dr. Kerr’s horse, "chimes" and carriage. For the guests that wish for more privacy, we have renovated the carriage house into two beautiful suites while maintaining its original integrity. Dr. Kerr’s main house has three bedrooms that are available for your stay. The doctor’s office was converted into a shop were we feature art work by Linda Piper and other local artists. Our unique purses, hats, scarves, household accessories, and jewelry are a direct reflection of the unique artistic culture of the Village of Lewiston.
